About the project

During this research project, a  clay face mask was successfully formulated with the incorporation of natural herbal extracts. Many organoleptic, and physicochemical parameters were tested on prepared samples and the finalized formulations indicated acceptable values for the tested properties. Stability testing of the novel formulations indicated that the product maintains it's quality over the period tested. Successful microbiological testing validates the preservative efficacy of samples further confirming the possibility of commercialization of these products.
